I've never done this before, but here goes nothing. I come from Canadian, a little town in the Texas Panhandle, roughly an hour or so away, I work for an oil field delivery company, it pays decently. When I'm not working, I play World of WarCraft, listen to metal, I don't listen to country, watch anime or just chill. I'm not a typical Texan, as you have guessed.
